(S)he Is Beautiful

This Monday, the day of creative writing class, was the second time of Mbak Abmi to substitute Mas Dalih, my lecturer who was absent because of having an important thing to do in Bali. Watching “Bag It” movie and reviewing it were what we had to do on the previous meeting with her. This Sunday, she brought appearing-like-a-lady guest with long hair, pointed nose, and proportional body. Her strange appearence, made our doubts came up while she was sitting at the corner. Then, we were asked to interview her by five topics from Mbak Abmi in team. In addition, our doubt revealed when Mbak Abmi called her ‘HE’. Yup, it may be queer but it’s real that she is waria, a man appearing as a woman. That made me change my mind to call him as ‘SHE’ no more but as ‘HE’.

Olivia Sonya Aresta, kindly called as Sonya, was originally from Klaten and now he has been living in Jogja since he was in vocational school (D3). Being a waria does not relieve his will to still exist in Perkumpulan Keluarga Berencana Indonesia (PKBI), run his business as an online seller, make-up bride, and beauty consultant.

He has been doing his best to find his identity since the rejection from his mother as a teacher, who is regarded by people around as a good figure. That’s what she has to do to get a confession and acceptance from his family.

Living here in Jogja for continuing his study in vocational school, brought a funny memory for him to remember about the first causes leading him to be like what he is now. His parents allowed him to play with girls rather than boys because they might hurt him. It made him like to make-up, play doll, and dress like a girl. Even as he was in junior high school, he was feeling afraid no more to go outside for hanging out in the night and it countinued until senior high school. One day when he went to a mall and wore skirt, he met his friends there and automatically they got surprised by looking him dressing like a woman.  Because of feeling shocked by their notice, he threw his shoes and ran away. This made him getting mocked and had to hide from his friend. Went out from Klaten and lived in Jogja were his choice to avoid their mockings, but it still did not make him live in peace, because people knew his rejection and throwing done by his family. However, he refused their assumption because he really wanted to restrain the inconvenience from his family of his decision to be a waria.

Jogja is a pleasant place for her with Its fascinating atmosphere which madeit different from other place he had ever visited, like Solo, Bandung, Jakarta and even Bali. In addition, he found both lessons and his confidence here when he became a volunteer for earthquake in Bantul. Here, he also finds his true friends who care with him, looked after him when he was hospitalized and always by her side. He feels that his friends have made him meaningful, so he wants to made her life more meaningful by being a volunteer in PKBI not only for one or two months but forever. He wants to help people, especially waria to fight against HIV AIDS and to defend their identity to be admitted as an equal resident who have similar rights as others. I think It is very best for me for considering her as a beautiful one, from her inner that has inspired me a lot. Thank You..

Port Stephen, Sydney

This incredible picture – amazing yachts with shiny sky back there – was made by Kim Yee Seul, an English Department student of 2010. This picture was taken in Port Stephen, Sydney when she was having her holiday there. She loves painting with acrylic but she only paints what she likes. She likes yacht, car, and people in sporty style, that's what I see from her paintings on Kim Yee Seul's blog. Her painting of yacht is the one that I like most, because I can see her really dream to go to new place. Port is a place where will bring you to a new place that you want with the ships there similar to what airport does with the airplanes there. She added beautiful and cheerful sky on the back of the yachts which represents her truly desire to visit new isle.

Plastic Bags in Bushes, in River, in Canal, and Everywhere!

Thats what the three old men said to Jeb Berrier, the host of Bag It documentary, when they were talking about the spread of plastic.
In this movie, Jeb told about the bad effects of using plastics for environments, peoples health, especially for pregnancy because it can cause premature birth and it can decrease anogenital distance for newborn babies. Plastic also causes many healthy problems, such as authism for children, diabetes, obesity, asthma, allergies and people will not guess that plastic could give negative effects for woman and mans vital organ and the increasing of their functions, such as low sperm counts, decreased sperm motility, premature breast development, and even smaller penis size. He opened peoples eyes and minds, including me, not to use more plastics because everything has been made by plastic, household products and even electronics. 1 million plastic cups used on U.S. airlines flights every 6 hours and 2 million plastic bottles consumed in U.S. every 5 minutes. So would we make it again more? Me, and almost everybody I guess, have already known since along time ago about dangerous effects of using plastic for our lives especially for the environment, but people still do not stop using it, and plastic still can be found in almost all department stores for packing the purchase. Its much cheaper, simpler, practice and easy to use. Thats the reason why many supermarkets still use it.

In Bag It movie, when Jeb was going to buy vegetables and other household needs, he brought his purchase without any plastic. He did not want the cashier to give him plastics. He literally brought the purchases by his two hands.

By watching this movie, I suddenly realized that plastics are everywhere, even when we are walking, we may see flying plastic, when we are visiting beach, we could see also many floating plastics there. In North Pacific Subtropical Gyre has been found a Great Pacific Garbage Patch  sized as Texas land. Algalita Marine Research Foundation found much more plastic than plankton to eat with 40:1 for the comparation there.

By many negative effects given from plastic, Jeb gave us advices in the end of the movie :
1         1. Less packaging
2         2. Bring your own market bag
3         3. Only buy what you need
4         4. Dont drink bottled water
5         5. Reduce single-use
6         6. Reduce, reuse, then recycle
By following what written above, you have cleaned-up your life and this earth.

"Let me enjoy being myself" - Sonya Aresta

On the last creative writing class, we had a special guest. We called her Sonya. Olivia Sonya Aresta is her full name. She has a totally more beautiful name than me. LOL.

Why do I say she is special? Because she had a big confidence to share all her stories in front of us. She did not feel shy when she explained all the things happened, started from her childhood, the reason why she became who she is now, and also her efforts to survive.

“When I was in elementary school, I prefer played with girls rather than with boys, because boys played roughly”. Then, the story begins here. When we ask whether she wore skirt or trousers as her uniform, she said that she wore trousers at school, but she wore skirt outside of school.

“Of course my parents got shocked with me, but my father really give me a support for whatever I do, and even my grandpa gave me what I liked, such as dolls. For my mother, we do not contact each other for around three years.”

She also added that she has to cover all her needs by herself. She does any bussiness, she does everything to survive, because she knows that her family feel embarrassed with her and she decided to runaway and take care of herself, so everything must be done independently.

At the end of the sharing, she added a wise advice for us, “Don’t make your future children run and go away from you. Treat them well, please.”

Boungiorno.. It's my little story of my 20th birthday on the last April 20,2013.

1. They suddenly came to my friend's room where I was doing my assignment in. They got help from the owner of the room. I did not even suspect that she could help them, because they did not know each other very well. I had not taken a bath yet. iyuuuh!

2. They brought balloon-necklace and put it on me. See, my cloth had been changed, right? Ya, I had taken a bath in 3 MINUTES only. Awesome.

 3. It was time to eat the cake. I ate it first and poor me, I ate the little candle too. Yucks!! LOL

 3. Guys, these were the papers from them containing their prayers for my better life

4. The woman in a red T-shirt is my friend, named Ranika Ginting, who helped Lintang (bitchy red hoodie), Ayik (brown veil), and Erry (the sexiest with black costume)

 5. Guess, who is that beautiful girl behind the instax paper?! haha

 6. It happened in the evening after giving me a surprise. It was in Erry's house (has been considered as our basecamp and even our second home after our first truly home because we feel so comfy here. Ayik was not here with us because she went to Solo :(

 7. Reminded us with our fuckin young age in middle school. Ya, because we are old enough now -_-

That's my story. It will be continued on their birthday. Let's see! HAHAHA *ketawajahat*

SIA – SIA

Penghabisan kali itu kau datang
Membawa kembang berkarang
Mawar merah dan melati putih
Darah dan suci.
Kau tebarkan depanku
Serta pandang yang memastikan: Untukmu.

Sudah itu kita sama termangu
Saling bertanya: Apakah ini?
Cinta? Keduanya tak mengerti.

Sehari itu kita bersama. Tak hampir-menghampiri.

Ah! Hatiku yang tak mau memberi
Mampus kau dikoyak-koyak sepi.

Friday 19 April 2013

Rain was falling down last night, wetting the street, and everything outside. Thank God, I was not going anywhere, just laying on my bed with my sleepsuit on. I was not having any plan to go outside. I was just realizing that being lazy is really gorgeous moment ever (sometimes). LOL. I did not know how cold outside, until my friend came to my boarding house to borrow a rain coat and I opened the gate for her and I realized that it was very chilly outside. I tried to grab any meal with no worry to ruin my diet. It could not warm me because it was only a creepy biscuit and bread. I tried to buy my favorite food, Roti Kalong, but I can not get them last night. It is sold near my boarding house, Soropadan, Gejayan, next to Olive Fried Chicken.

First time I heard about it, I talked to myself, “Does it kalong (bat) look like?” or “Will we change into kalong after consuming?” But those ridiculous thoughts were wrong. I do not know why it is called Roti Kalong. Moreover, it is sold in the evening, at 6 p.m – 11 p.m, that is why it is called Kalong, I guess.

Its appearance is not as special or fantastic as any cake that you can grab in bakery shop. It is sold in a cart or gerobak. It is a traditional food with like-in-paradise taste. The bread is like a burger, but it is not filled with a piece of beef or chicken, but it is filled with any spread you want. I usually buy the bread with rendang
spread mixed with cheese and milk in. It will be more spicy if you ask the seller, to give chilly powder. There are other spread, chocolate and strawberry. If you want to try an unusual flavour, you can choose melon and orange as the filling. Next, it has to be steamed for 3-5 minutes. After steaming, it is ready to serve. You have to eat directly, because the best taste can be felt when it is still warm. You will feel the like-in-paradise taste when you get your fist bite, first cud, and first swallow. Hmmm... Oishi maaa.. Oops sorry, the picture will be updated soon, because last night I did not get it in its counter.

God Save Them Ever and After

Dark, foggy, cold, horrible, anxious and panic. Those were the proper situation to describe when the volcanic eruption happened. One of the victim, with initial name AR, said that her day was welcomed by the grey street and plants in front of her house. Nobody passed that way. Merapi had subdued everything and everybody not to go out from their house.

Merapi eruption happened twice. First was on September 10th, 2010 and second was on October 26th, 2010. The first eruption was not as terrific as the second one. AR lived quite far from Merapi, but she also felt the sand of the eruption. She even said that the sand spreaded until Solo and Purwokerto.

When the first eruption happened, she thought that lecturer would pause the lecturing for a moment, but it still went on. She hoped that the class will be paused, so that she could stay in her home without feeling scared of the situation. However, on the second eruption, the lecturing was paused for around two or three weeks. She really enjoyed that, because the situation outside was totally horrible. She always checked on social media about the latest news. “Jalan Kaliurang of 6km was closed. There were many places used to evacuate the victim who lived very near from the volcano, such as stadium and even one building of my campus was used for the evacuation,” she revealed.

When she was asked whether she and her family decided to move for a moment, she answered, “Firstly, my family and I wanted to go to Bantul, but my mom said “Live or die, we’ll stay here”. I could not do anything. That was why I really hoped that the lecturing will be paused, and thankfully, my prayer was happened.”
She also told an awesome experience from her mother.

When people found the corpse of Mbah Marijan, the spiritual guardian or juru kunci of Merapi, with kneeling position, and it was brought to Sardjito hospital, her mother helped the doctor to strecth and clean the corpse. “When I heard my mom’s story, I can imagine how scary I will be when I looked at it”, she said.
“One thing that I really apologized for everything was I could not join people to be a volunteer, because it was impossible to go near the location while I was afraid to go outside. But, at least my family and I can help people by giving many masks on the street for people who were passing us. It was enough I guess, because we did not have to go to the location to help people. I always hoped that God will save them ever and after,” she said happily.

Fountain, why are you smiling and staring at me?

I like being in a silent situation. I like reviewing and rethinking what has just happened a few minute before. However, I sometimes do not think about anything in silent situation, just empty my mind, let the wind wipe my sweat, and let every creature move around and do their activity, and let any sound fill the emptiness of my mind. I like sitting with nothing to do in a loneliness and silence with the water-flowing sound from a fountain to the pond. One day, I did it again. I watched on one spot with nothing to think. Firstly, I do not realize about fountain sound beside me. Until I changed my spot to watch and look at the fountain which tried to greet me and said :

F (Fountain) : Good morning, big creature with bright rays from eyes.
M (Me) : smiled.. Morning..

Damn, I think people will consider me as a crazy one, because I smiled at a fountain and pretended that we had a dialogue. But, s’okay. At least, it will be better rather than I empty my mind and watch on a dead thing. So, I continued..

F : What are you doing?
M : nothing. I just look around.
F : Is there any more important thing to do by yourself?
M : hmm. I guess no. I am not sure. Hhh. Just relax. Stretch my body.
F : well, okay.

Silence in a moment

M : Hey, do you feel annoyed with me sitting here?
F : Li’l bit. But, fine
M : Thanks. But, FYI, I like sitting here, so I wn’t moce though you feel annoyed. Why are you staring at me and smiling?
F : I smile with everyone passing me. I know that I’m only a dead thing, nobody cares when they pass me. But, when they do like you are doing now, I know that I will not be forgotten to be stared. Some of them do not relize my greeting, but they smile at me after they watch on something. What do you feel being next to me?
M : Well, I feel as if I am in Eden when I’m alone in a silent place. You make it more perfect. Thanks.
F : It’s nothing. I am created to put in a beautiful place, like on a pond in a garden. And I am put to make the view more beautiful.
M : whoaa. But, be ready because one day, you will get alga on your body. Haha. Go and leave it...

Malioboro now and then. Which one is better?

Malioboro is the most famous place in Yogyakarta. It has been an icon of Yogyakarta. It becomes the first destination for tourists visiting Jogja, from foreign tourist until domestic tourist.  There are a lot of things selling there with cheap price, but the seller will offer their things with high price if they know that the buyers are not originally from Jogja.
As I have seen the picture of Malioboro in 1990s, there are many changes of that place. What has changed there? First, now Malioboro is full of visitor from Indonesia and other countries. The street and its sides are very crowded and full of walking people and vehicles. At the past time, as been captured in the picture, the people were not as crowded as now.
Secondly, there are many sellers there. The fulfill the sides of the street, so there is traffic jam usually. As I saw on the picture, there were not as much sellers there. People may not feel chaos when walking on the side of the street.
Then, the road was wider in 1990s, probably. I am not sure about it. It might because of the situation which was not as crowded as now. The government did two-ways system for the traffic. If it were done for today, the traffic jam will be worse, that is why the government makes one-way system for the traffic.
Fourthly, there were no department stores, hotels and restaurants or Cafes at that time. There were only traditional markets there. Nowadays, we can see many department stores, hotels, and restaurants in Malioboro, such as Malioboro Mall, Ramayana, Ibis Hotel, and Artemi Gelato.
Moreover, there are many transportations now. However, there were not many transportations. They used to use traditional transportation such as andong, bicycle, etc for their transportations.
Last but not least, the situation of Malioboro today is more green than at past time. There are green benches for sitting, there are a lot of trees on both sides. On the picture, there were no bench, and less tree there.

Little Things Called Experience

I like english very much since I was in primary school. I always got the best score in english lesson than others lesson. The highest score on my school exam in my primary school was english. I did not realize that I have an ability in english. I like watching english movies, and I like singing english songs. On the other hand, I often joined some singing competitions since I was in middle school, and I liked singing english songs in my competitions, besides many people like english songs, it also had big point.

I also ever became the third winner on speech contest in my high school and joined some english competitions held by other high schools. I still felt confused whether I would continue my english adventure in my university or I took other field and let english be my partial skill. Then, I decided to take english field as my major in university, and I put it in the first choice in UGM. Before the announcement had been out, I tried others institutions. However, my heart still dream for studying in STAN (Sekolah Tinggi Akuntansi Negara), STIS (Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Statistik) and AMG (Akademi Meteorologi dan Geofisika). I guessed nobody does not dream to study in one of those three institutions. We can get a great job directly after graduating, so we do not need to think what job I will gain after graduating. I really expected to be there. I lived in a boarding house in Bintaro, near STAN to join a course for USM STAN (Ujian Saringan Masuk STAN) preparation because it was quite far from my house, it would be exhausting if I did round trip everyday. I did it during my long holiday. That was why it is not my first time to live by myself in boarding house, but at least I did not live by myself, but I lived together in one room with my friend.

Well, I did not pass them, but gratefully, I gain UGM as my university. Thank God. I live by myself in Jogja for a long period. The thing I could not believe was I will take care myself. I have to survive without my parents’ help, except money and pray. I wondered with myself because I did not cry because of separating with my beloved family. I feel really comfortable with this situation, the people and the culture. Mom, dad, I love being here. I also got myself changed. This condition changes me to be a better creature. In addition, studying in faculty of cultural sciences makes me realize one thing about the diversity in this world. I become a woman who never see a diversity from a point of view, because diversity is really important as the colored pencils. It is impossible to only use one color, we need all of them to create a beautiful thing.

Why Do Several Fantasy Fiction Works Attract Children while They Contain Romance?

According to Merriam-Webster’s 11th Collegiate Dictionary, literature is writing in prose or verse;  especially : writings having excellence of form or expression and expressing ideas of permanent or universal interest. On the other hand, Barnet says, “literature is sense of any writing and verbal works of art. There are several form of literature. For saying that literature must be written or printed is too narrow because sometimes it excludes oral literature, e.g, ballad which is sung and even story that is recited” (1961:1). Hudson states, “the great impulses behind literature may be grouped with accuracy enough for practical purposes under four heads, first, our desire for self-expressions, second, our interest in pople and their doings, third, our interest in the world of reality in which we live, and in the world of imagination which we conjure into existence, and fourth, our love as form as form” (1913:11). There are two general types of literature, they are fiction and non fiction genre. The one that want to be concerned is fiction. Fiction is an imaginary, but usually plausible and ultimate truthful, prose narrative of changes in human relationship. The author draws his materials from observation of life, but he selects and shapes them to his purposes, which include the illumination of human experience” (Altenbernd 1963:9). Fiction genre also contains so many categories, such as children’s literature, education fiction, historical fiction, horror, fantasy, tragedy, saga, and etc (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_literary_genres). One of them which is attractive enough to be talked is fantasy. In the fantasy genre, the author creates a magical world where anything is possible. It commonly uses magic and other supernatural pheomena as a primary element of plot, theme, or setting (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fantasy). It also contains unreal character, such as smeagol in “The Lord of The Rings”, or animal which can talk. However, author usually puts a romantic action which is unappropriate for children. This paper would discuss the positive impacts of reading fantasy for children and the reason why the author involves it.
Fantasy is intended to children because they will enjoy the work when there is such odd creature which happens in wonderful and unreal world. It can develop children’s imagination by reading or watching fantasy which contains imaginary things. Through fantasy work, author wants to entertain the audience, especially children. Fantasy fiction sometimes is easier to be understood and analyzed than other genre, because author will not make a complicated story or plot for children. That is why it is intended to children. In addition, it can give lessons for children to face any obstacles in their life. Author also puts good and evil in their work, and shows them that evil always loses, so it could teach them to do a good thing in their life ever and after.
Many of fantasy works involve a romance situation, e.g, kissing. As example is in the novel and movie of Harry Potter and Peterpan. The present writer guesses it is an unappropriate action for children. As people know, the age of children who still enjoy the movie or book is about three until ten years old, so I guess, they have not been allowed to watch or read such actions. Children in this ages will immitate what they hear and see. If they see or hear good things, they also will do a good thing, but if they see or hear bad things, they will do those bad things. However, authors have many reasons why they put something which is unappropriate to be shown for children, is because several reasons. First reason is culture. In literature, we can find any form of cultural stereotype which is quite specific to a particular culture (Cawelty, 1976:5). In the formula of literature, culture becomes a conventional ways to represent certain images, symbols, and etc (Cawelty, 1976:20). Because of the different culture, readers will feel it as a unsuitable work. It could be a commonly thing in their culture eventhough firstly readers, especially who have children, will judge it as an unappropriate thing to be watched for their children. Second, the author may put it only for an addition to prevent monotone situation in the story. In several Indonesian movie have been found an action which the boy kisses the girl on her cheek. Sometimes, the movie maker adds it only as a complement or addition. People will feel bored with the flat story even the flat action. Third, in many story, author puts someone loved as a motivator behind the succeed of the main character. For example is in Harry Potter story, Giny becomes Harry’s motivator to destroy the evil, Voldemort. In Peterpan story, we have known that Peterpan does not want to be an adult. He wants to be a kid forever. But after his lovely girl, named Wendy, grows and becomes adult, he changes his mind and wants to be an adult too. It shows that someone loved could be the motif behind the appearance of the conflict or even be the solution or answer of the conflict. Fourth, Jackson defines fantasy as a mode placed between marvelous and mimetic modes, fantasy combining elements of both of them. The marvelous mode is often used in romances, works with magic and supernaturalism (Jackson via Haviřova,1993).
By watching or reading fantasy, children will be able to develop their imagination. They also will get a good lessons to behave well as presented in fantasy’s characters. They also will be introduce that there is good and bad (evil) in this real life which have to be destroyed. However, it contains romantic elements. First, literature is a work which contains experience of life and also culture of the author. As Hudson states, “Personal experiences is the basis of all real literature”; and to enter into such personal experience, is similarly the basis of all real literary culture (1910:15). Furthermore, the difference of culture can not be false. Second, it could be a complement for the story. Third, someone loved in the story could be the motivator of the main character to fight, in addition, it could be the motif of the conflict or the solution of the conflict. Fourth, according to Jackson, marvelous mode is used in romances, works with magic and supernaturalism (Jackson via Haviřova,1993). In watching or reading fantasy works, parents have to guide their children, because the guidance of parents could help their children to differ something good or bad, even help them to tell what the meaning of the character’s action who does such action.

Create Your Mind, Create Your Writing

Oh My God, it was one p.m, time for us, students of English Literature 2010, Cultural Sciences Faculty, Universitas Gadjah Mada, to enter F304 room, for Creative Writing class.
Yup, Tuesday, February 19th, 2013 was first day of Creative Writing lesson. Eventhough it was the first meeting of the class, I enjoy the class and the way Mr. Dalih, that’s the lecturer’s nick name, taught us. Firstly, let me introduce himself. Well, Mr. Labodalih Sembiring, we called him Mr. Dalih, is the owner of Indonesian Travel Bloggers and Travel Junkie Indonesia. He gave a seminar about travel blogging to us for several times ago. He has tripped to many places in the world and he shares his adventures in his blog, especially about Indonesia. I totally love his blog. The way he writes can make us, as the viewer, feel interested and inspired with what he shares and want to go there at the time we read it. Because, he does not only tell about the places, but he also shows how beautiful, awesome, and fantastic they are through the pictures and his writings. When I know that we got him as our lecturer in this class, I can not guess what will happen next.

He taught us in different way. Firstly, I think that Creative Writing subject will be similar to Writing in General English subject. However, it was totally different with writing class. He modified it, so we will be taught more about how to write as creative as possible. He makes us know that we can show something not only from picture, but we also can show something through the expression of our writing. He has different mind about wasting paper. He said that he will not do what many teachers ask their students to submit assignments using paper. He has a cool idea to post our assignment via blog. Thank sir, this class makes me active in my blog, because actually I have my previous blog, but I never post anything, until I forgot the password and finally I got my new blog and I am going to activate this account by posting many interesting things, including the assigments. And I hope, this class can make me exist my blog as what my awesome lecture does in his blog and also I can be more creative.

My Incredible Five Senses. Thank God, I Got It Complete.

Sense is an unit of our body which has certain function based on the kind of sense itself. There are five types of senses. They are sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch. by these senses, we can feel the sensation of something through our sensory mechanism. Without these senses, we can not see the beautiful sunset at beach, we can not smell the sensation of baked-pizza, we can never know how fabulous Mariah Carey's voice is, we can never know how hot chili is, and of course we can not feel how smooth your hair is.

As we know that eyes are the organ enrolled as sight sense. Sight sense makes me know that I totally like to see a place where I can find woods, surrounding a green field where I can lay my body down on there and see the blue sky, and flowing water. I swear, only peace I can find there.

Beside of sight sense, I would like to tell about smell sense, or people often call it as nose. Moreover, my sense of smell makes me realize that I feel disgusted when somebody sprays too much perfume on his or her body. When I found someone passing me and I guess she sprayed too much, suddenly I put my palm on my nose and mouth, to avoid my nose inhale that bad air, and of course I frown my brow and held my breath. people may think that use much perfume is good rather than bad odor smells from our body.

Well, I would like talk about hearing sense. Hearing sense makes us can catch and hear any voice around us, and it uses our ear as the organ. first sound I heard this morning came from my phone. It woke me up at 6 o'clock in the morning. yup, that was my alarm. the tone was spanish song, entitled Amigos X Siempre. It sounded so loud, that's why it never fails to make me awake. Eventhough it makes me crazy all the time, but thank God, my sense of hearing can work well.

Now, I would like talking about taste sense. I really appreciate this sense, because it makes me can taste many foods and it makes me know what kind of food that I like. I like hot and spicy food. I like oseng-oseng mercon, rujak, and any hot food. But girls, I warn you not to consume too much hot food, because it is not good for your beautiful skin. Part of mouth which is used to taste something is tongue. Tongue has its organ which make us can feel something come to our mouth. For touch sense, organ used as touch sense is skin. skin makes us can feel something smooth, rough, and etc. I really like touching something good, but if people ask me to touch my sandals or shoes, I do not like doing that, especially touching its surface, unless it is a new one, so there is no dirt yet. I can not imagine when I touch its surface then I touch something strange, I will scream, get shocked, smell it, and make an expression as if I want to vomit. However, I do touch its surface when I see it on the store and take it. On the other hand, surface of the shoes I often use is having thick heel and rough surface.

Many people in the world have an injury in their senses, caused  by accident and even (s)he has been born with the injury. It makes me be grateful of the perfection. We have to keep it safe, so it will work well.

Hello, my name is Maria Erlita Cipta Sari. It is my newest account, because actually I have two more accounts, but I forget both passwords. LOL. Well, I live in Tangerang, Banten. I suppose you all know where it is. It has many wonderful places to visit. Whereas, I study in Yogyakarta, a beautiful place where you can find easily any traditional meals from other regions in Indonesia with incredibly cheap price. Moreover, it also has many historical places, Keraton, Taman Sari Water Castle, and many more. If you are in Indonesia, do not forget to visit Jogja. Jyamata :D
